matthew dear – her fantasy

Awesome track from Deary, can’t wait for the new album. Not sure about the clip though…

pluxus – kinoton

An oldie but a goodie…

jai paul – jasmine (demo)

john talabot – destiny (ft. pional)

John Talabot released his debut album fin this week and it’s an absolute gem. So many brilliant tracks to choose from, but in the end we landed on the one that Mr. Talabot chose to share himself for free earlier this week.

matthew dear – headcage

Deary is back with a new single, due for release on January 17. It’s a prelude to his new album Beams, set to drop this year. Can’t wait.

ulrich schnauss & jonas munk

Ulrich Schnauss released a collaborative new album with Danish electronic musician Jonas Munk (Manual) at the beginning of the year. Due to Ulrich’s last album Goodbye not quite matching the excellence of his first two efforts (in my opinion anyway), this one kind of passed me by until now. So glad we finally crossed paths, though, because as you can see from this track, ‘Chasing Rainbows’, it’s rather lovely.

axel boman – what do you need?

Heard this little puppy on fbi the other day. Tasty!

new massive attack track

Massive Attack recently posted on their facebook a demo version of a brand new track, sounding very much like their Mezzanine era work. A whole new album just like this please.

pajama club – tell me what you want

Best surprise of the year? Not usually the type of fodder you’d find around these parts, but too good not to post. We like your new direction Mr Finn, we like it a lot.

massive attack – paradise circus (burial remix)

Want to know the definition of disappointment? It’s ordering the new Massive Attack/Burial 12″ only to receive an email days later informing you that the website overloaded, took too many orders, and in fact you won’t be receiving said vinyl.

So unless it gets released digitally, I’ll just have to settle for this youtube clip. Luckily it’s Mary Anne Hobbs‘ hushed tones doing the voice over. Mmmmmm….
